Bio: when Akira applied for a job at Hathaway Enterprises, after
graduating from college, he had to convince Tom Hathaway himself
that despite only having a master’s in engineering, he could build
anything. Over the years Akira proved this time and time again,
eventually becoming the head of research and development for the
company. Eventually Akira started to settle into things a little too
much, and when Hathaway tasked him with building a set of Ranger
powers, he initially declined stating that the recent Earth-built powers
were made by people with higher degrees than him. However after
Hathaway used his powers of persuasion on Akira, Akira reluctantly
agreed, being Don in on the project, and together he and Don
designed and built everything the Rangers use. With the threat of
Electrex now looming, Akira knows that the Rangers will be in for a
long and hard battle, and is now busy coming up with new ideas to
counter future threats.
