Name: Posternium
From: episode 3
Info: after giving the Rangers a humiliating defeat, Electrex decided that the best
course of action is to send something more down to Earth than just Blazikks.
This prompted Damash to plug in some data into the Genetic Manipulator, at
which point Electrex gave it some electricity, causing Posternium to come out.
Posternium was sent down to Earth to fight against Don, Ken, Evan, Mel, and
Lisa, only to end up fighting against a group of replacement Rangers, which
Electrex dubbed "Power fakes". The replacement Rangers proved ineffective at
fending off Posternium, and Don, Ken, Evan, Mel, and Lisa took back their
morphers, and defeated Posternium. However Posternium grew to gigantic size,
only to fight the Samurai Zords, and was eventually defeated by the Lion
Emblem's Flaming Pentagon attack.
Name: Zephyrazor
From: episode 4
Info: sent down for Electrex's usual reason of creating chaos on Earth.
Zephyrazor was armed with a sickle-like sword, and had the ability to create
whirlwinds by rotating his head; if he rotated clockwise he could blow things
away, but if he went counterclockwise he would pull things toward him. The
whirlwinds initially created a problem for the Rangers, but they eventually figured
him out and he was defeated only to grow to gigantic size, but was eventually
destroyed by the Samurai Megazord.
Name: Doubleside
From: episode 5
Info: created in an attempt by Electrex to see which if any of the Rangers had a dual
nature, Doubleside went down to Earth and used his powers, but they only
managed to affect Evan. However Doubleside's powers worked extremely well, and
exposed cowardice under Evan's usual overconfident facade. Lisa managed to give
Evan some encouragement, but Doubleside got wise to this, and started to get a little
more physical in his attacks. When all five Rangers finally joined up, Doubleside
used his Double Attack to try to defeat them all, but Evan and Lisa managed to
destroy the attack, which also initially destroyed Doubleside. Doubleside grew to
gigantic size, only to eventually be destroyed by the Samurai Megazord.
Name: Gattlinger
From: episodes 6 and 7
Info: created to give the Rangers a harder time than usual, Gattlinger was
impenetrable by bladed attacks, which rendered the Elemental Katanas useless, as
well as the Flame Sword, Wood Lance, and Ground Cutter. The Air Vane proved
useless since its usual wind did not faze Gattlinger. With Evan being captured by
Electrex, Gattlinger had an apparent advantage over the remaining Rangers when they
initially tried to fight him. However Bruudas showed up, and Blazikks upon Blazikks
filled the streets of the city. All seemed lost, until Ken, Mel, and Lisa managed to
rescue Evan. The Hydro Bow's arrows proved effective against Gattlinger, and after
Don perfected the Flame Disk, he used it to power the Flame Sword to activate its
new Cannon Mode. The Rangers used the Flame Sword's Cannon Mode to initially
defeat Gattlinger, but he grew to gigantic size. Like the Elemental Katanas, the
Samurai Megazord's katana proved useless against Gattlinger. However Don
summoned the Flame Beetle, and combined it with the Samurai Megazord, forming
the Samurai Megazord Flame Cannon, which finally defeated Gattlinger.
Name: Armstrong
From: episode 8
Info: created to take advantage of Ken's angered state, Armstrong was sent down to
Earth, to create Electrex's usual chaos, but was underpowered when compared to
Gattlinger. Armstrong had the ability to stretch his arms to incredible length. Ken
eventually used this to his advantage the tangle Armstrong's arms to keep him in one
place to deliver the finishing blow. The other Rangers showed up just as Ken had
finished off Armstrong, but Armstrong grew to gigantic size. However Armstrong was
eventually destroyed by the Samurai Megazord.
Name: the Heckler
From: episode 9
Info: an insult comic monster, the Heckler was sent down to take advantage of Mel's
newfound uneasy state after receiving some verbal abuse from Hathaway due to what
a local talk show said about her. The Heckler's insults were mostly ineffective against
Don, Ken, Evan, and Lisa, but did a number on Mel after she arrived from having a
"nice friendly chat" with Electrex. Mel eventually gained some confidence, and the
Heckler was defeated only to grow to gigantic size, where he was defeated by the
Samurai Megazord Flame Cannon
Name: Olfacto
From: episode 10
Info: Olfacto was created with the ability to spew a green gas, which leaves a toxic
residue when it comes in contact with anything. The residue would also cause a
chemical reaction that would cause whatever the residue was covering to melt when it
came in contact with regular water. All of this was to take advantage of a rainstorm
that was going to occur in San Fortuna. However Don discovered that while water can
work to wash the residue off, it has to be mixed with sodium in order to counteract the
residue's toxicity. Luckily the saltwater-based Ocean Marlin Samurai Zord recently
came online, and Evan used its power to wash off some of the residue, and then
combine it with the Samurai Megazord creating the Ocean Sword formation to finish
off Olfacto.
Name: the Ringmaster
From: episode 12
Info: after Ralaez appeared on the Thundercrack in an apparent mutiny against Electrex,
Malicia expressed concern over their lack of monster making abilities. Given that the
mutiny was all an act Damash made it seem as if he recalibrated the Genetic
Manipulator for use with Ralaez, which was all apart of the act. Regardless the result
was the creation of the Ringmaster monster, who had the ability to put people and
machines under his control. The Ringmaster used this ability to take control of both
Evan, and the Metal Tiger Samurai Zord, which Electrex had stolen from the Rangers.
Don managed to find a way of countering the Ringmaster's control, and freed both Evan
and the Metal Tiger. In the end the Ringmaster was defeated by the Samurai Megazord
Metal Drill, a combination of the Metal Tiger with the Samurai Megazord.
